Kforce's client, a rapidly growing CPA firm in Woodbury, NY, is seeking a Tax Manager/Senior Manager for a partner-track role. This position involves ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations for various returns (Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, Multistate). The manager will lead a team in tax return preparation, planning, and research, applying knowledge of current tax laws and industry-specific concerns. The role requires managing client relationships and effectively supervising engagements.
Must Have
- 10+ years of recent, continuous CPA firm experience
- Handle compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations for Individual, Fiduciary, Corporate, Partnership, and Multistate returns
- Lead a team in preparing tax returns as well as performing planning and research functions
- Demonstrate knowledge of tax laws and developments
- Apply knowledge of current issues in tax, regulatory requirements, and industry specific concerns
- Assume responsibility for planning, supervising, and completing engagements
- Manage work effectively with others while managing client relationships

- Strong experience using tax software with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS, Microsoft Office and Intuit QuickBooks

Requirements
- CPA highly preferred
